Night Owl

Top: Lush (I purchased at Angl)
Shoes: Vintage (Brand Name)
Necklace: Bracchiale
Cross over purse: Tory Burch

Happy Friday! So I haven’t even mentioned it yet but I started a new job! Just to tell you guys a little bit about me, I went to school at SDSU for Event Planning and am now working at J.D. Power and Associates doing their corporate events! I hate being the new girl but I am so excited to dive in and plan some amazing stuff!

So in celebration of my new job, I got all my girlfriends together last weekend for some drinks and this is what I wore. It was a really cool bar called Laurel Hardware on Sunset so I wanted to wear something that was dressy but not clubby by any means and that had a cool, chic vibe. And this is what I came up with honey boo boos!!! So I just got my hair touched up… re-did the roots and a little trim. Are you guys over the ombre now? I’m trying to think of something new to do to my hair. Nothing drastic though… maybe just lighten it up all over like JLo my idol?

Have a wonderful weekend!
xoxo

I Heart U

Top: Lush
Skirt: Brandy Melville (Similar here + here)
Wedges: Zara (older)
Bag: Tory Burch
Watch: Michael Kors
Chain: Vintage
Arrow Cuff: Madewell
Rings: Gifts from friends

I was invited to the Gorjana and Griffin California Dreaming event in Mailbu and this is what I planned on wearing! I was so excited to get to see their new summer collection while sippin on a glass of wine at the beach. I even took off work early! I drove to Malibu and I'm knocking on the door and no one is answering... I finally realized that the event is NEXT Wednesday... seriously?! Oh well... at least I got to take some pics of my outfit for you and I'll just have to put something else together for next week!

I love this shirt... It's made by LUSH which you can find at most boutiques. It has a criss cross back and I love this color. I very recently got this skirt from Brandy Melville but they didn't have it on their website. But you can probably find it in a store near you for $22. I love these kinds of high wasted skirts that are flowy. So easy to wear and super chic. And this one actually wasn't made for a 5'11" supermodel.

Brooklyn

Shirt and Bag: Brandy Melville | Shorts: Just USA

Here are my first shots of NY! This was the day we arrived...so tired from our red-eye but so excited to finally be here! And you get to see your first glimpse of Kevin here on the blog! We had so much fun exploring the city together. We got an amazing breakfast at a local cafe in Brooklyn heights then walked along the Brooklyn Bridge. It was sooo crowded, hot and windy. My hair was in dreads at the end of the walk. It was so amazing to see all the buildings and the Statue of Liberty. I wanna live in a brownstone sooo bad!

I had no choice but to wear as light of clothing as possible. It was freakin HOT. I love this cross-body bag too. It gave a nice pop of color while being super functional. Who wants to lug around a big bag while walking 10 miles a day... not me.
