Hat Hair

Sweater: Zara (current) | Shorts: Random | Hat: beach in Cabo : Bracelets: F21, Brandy Melville, Urban Outfitters | Long Necklace: Brandy Melville

I always love to pair sweaters with shorts. Just so cute and casual. And this reddish coral color is bomb.com. I actually never wear hats but thought it went well and it was in my car from when I was laying out at the beach last weekend so I thought what the hay. You can dress this up with some wedgies or down with some sandals or flats... or even some awesome combat boots. So pull out those winter sweaters and throw on your cut offs and brag to your friends that you know how to look super cute without trying too hard...sorry I've had a bit of wine...

Lil Indian Princess

Sweater: Lani | Shorts: Zara | Platform Wedges: Urban Outfitters | Turquoise Ring and Clutch: F21

I can't believe I haven't posted all week! I was having some issues with these pics and couldn't get them to load right. But a big thank you to my Maxy for taking them for me! She is my besty since our college years together frolicking around San Diego. We are always dressed the same and she has long brown hair just like me! I'm trying to convince her to start her own little blog cuz she really has great style and loves traveling and photography.

I absolutely love these little shorts. They are silky and so comfy too! I would say they are almost PJs except for the studs haha. And how great are these platform sandals... they are my new faves. I've been wearing them with everything! This little clutch really adds the right amount of excitement to the outfit too. Hope you like!!!

Shirt and Bow

Shirt and bow: American Apparel | Shorts: Uniq Jeans | Heels: Steve Madden | Bracelets: F21, Brandy Belville, JCrew | Watch: Michael Kors

Photos by Brianna Folks: onelifephotography.tumblr.com

Happy Friday noodles!!! Work is getting so tedious I find myself already looking forward to the weekends on like Tuesdays. Geez. But at least it's here! Do you guys have any fun summer plans?

I just love mixing prints as I think we all do... so i decided to go with a striped crop with my high wasted floral shorts. I got these shorts last summer at Wasteland and have gotten a lot of great use out of them. I would definitely pair this ourfit with some cute flats or chucks but these were the only shoes I had handy at my parent's house... don't judge... we've all worn shorts with heels at one point in our lives or another right?!

Hello Summer

Shirt: Zara | Jeans: Madewell | Heels: Zara | Sunnies: OC Shades | Bag: Zara | Belt: Urban Outfitters

Well it is officially summer! And it has been amazing weather outside...perfect for some white jeans. This outfit is the epitome of my style... feminine chic but still comfy casual. I love the stud detail on the shoulders of this classic shirt. You could pair it with white cut off shorts and some gladiator sandals to dress it down for the weekend too. I ordered these cute glasses and OC Shades last week and they already came in! Only $15 and free shipping! Check them out.

I have to give my photographer Brianna Folks some love. How amazing are these pics?! Visit her tumblr at onelifephotography.tumblr.com

Stud muffin

Studded Dress: Zara | Wrap Around Watch: La Mer | Shades: Gucci

Is it possible to pull something in your foot just while walking?! Am I just an old lady? I think I would have served myself better just jogging instead of walking.

Anyway, this dress is current at Zara. I love the casual air of it and the stud details on the sleeves. It's so easy to dress up or dress down and is super soft :)

Toby Tyler

Shirt: Brandy Melville | Skirt: American Apparel | Necklace: Fairfax Flee Market | Bracelets from Left: JCrew, F21, American Eagle | Watch: Michael Kors

Isn't Toby such a cutey cutey?! My sister rescued him about 2 years ago and he's really grown on me (for unfortunately not being much of a dog lover). But he just rolled over and put his little nose in the flower like he know someone was taking a picture of him. How can you not love that big shedding lug?

Get out those skirts and bright colors it's getting warm outside! It's so easy to turn this skirt into a million different outfits especially in this cream color. And I'm really loving all the flowers of the summer like sunflowers, peonies and hydrangeas- hint hint Kev.

Jumper: F21 | Platforms and Necklace: Urban Outfitters: Rings: Brandy Melville: Watch: Michael Kors | Bracelets from Left: Madewell, Fairfax Flee Market, F21, Roost Jewelry

I hope you all had a great weekend and a great Father's day! So I know I promised myself I wouldn't be doing any shopping but guess what! I found $50 store credit to Forever21 in my wallet! I must have totally forgotten it was there. So I got this cute little onesie thinking it would be really easy to walk around in all day in NY. Especially since it will be hot there. I'll just change out the wedges for some flats and be ready to hit the city! It also has a little neon pop that I also liked.

Any of you been to NY before? Any suggestions on what type of shoes to wear when I'm walking aroung there? Can I wear sandals or will those hurt after a while too? Should I just stick to sneakers?

xoxo

Black and Tan

I have been such a bad blogger this week and now to top it off I am at work trying to put up this post and I don’t even remember what brand this top or these jeans are! I will have to get that info for you later today. I wore this to go out to a fun dinner with Kev at Casa Vega. Wow that place was good. You’ve seen these Steven by Steve Madden shoes here before and the purse is from Brandy Melville. The rings are both from the Fairfax Flee Market, Michael Kors rose gold watch and F21 gold bracelet.

And seriously, could this week have gone by any slower? Thank God for weekends, I can’t take it any longer! You know, if we only worked 4 days a week instead of 5 it would make a HUGE difference. Who on earth started this whole American way of life where working is more important than enjoying a day off with friends and family? And that we need to work at least 40 hours a week. It’s just so unnecessary. And who was dumb enough to agree with this guy?! I need to move to Europe…they’re more my steez. Work less and enjoy life instead of sitting at a desk all day.

Anyway, I guess I’ll have to live up my 2 days weekends until NY!
