I'm so excited to show you my birthday dress! I got it at my new favorite store S.Y.L.K. They have the cutest stuff there. It was so perfect for my birthday brunch at the top of the Wilshire hotel. On our way home from brunch we passed by the Los Angeles Museum of Art which I have always wanted to go to so we HAD to stop. We literally parked in the red and ran in for 3 seconds to take a few photos. So pardon the blur. So now my birthday is officially over...here's to 27!

Since it is finally getting a little cooler in LA I can bring out the tights! I actually really love wearing tights and how they can change an outfit. I was so happy when I found this button up at Forever 21 too. It looks like it’s from Nasty Gal or something doesn’t it?

I had the most amazing birthday this past weekend. I was surrounded with my friends and my sisters and felt so much love. I’m always the type to feel bad about making people go out of their way for me on my birthday and want everyone to have to work as little as possible to celebrate with me. My friends really went above and beyond though and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. So thank you to everyone who was there making me feel so special all weekend long… I truly appreciate it!

I have tried on many different peplum tops, dresses and skirts and just never thought they looked good on my body type until I found this one at Zara and I am absolutely in love. I think I like it so much because it is not completely fitted and is super flattering. I’ve already worn it a few different times, once with my burgundy skinnies. I guess there is a peplum for everyone… 

And these rings are seriously my favorite thing and they were such a good deal on Gal's Etsy store! You have to check her stuff out! Seriously, if there is ever any sort of jewelry you see that is a bit pricey, look for something similar on Etsy first. You can find anything on there!

Happy Halloween! I was saving these pictures to post today to show you the pumpkin patch I went to! We had so much fun painting and glittering pumpkins and 20% of the proceeds went to breast cancer...so perfect :) What are you guys doing for Halloween?

I love this sweater with all my heart. Sparkly elbow pads?! Yes please...every day. Perfect little fall outfit.

Kingfisher

Well I am finally back from a week long stay at the Bellagio in Vegas. It was absolutely magical. I have to say I wouldn'y mind living in a hotel...Kardashian style. But back to reality :( I was there for my very first work event! I went to school for event planning and have been at my new job at J.D. Power and Associates for about 3 months now. We had our biggest convention of the year last week in Vegas and I had the best time! I learned so much and was so happy to get to do what I love. We had a big party at Marquee Nightclub last Wednesday night that I was put in charge of. We had drinks, food, entertainment and amazing decor! It was so much fun! I will have to show you guys the pictures :)

So anyway, back home now and out of my business clothes into this comfy sweater. It was a very recent purchase at Forever 21 and a great find. My roomate got one too! I love stripes and this is super cozy for work or play. It's still not really fall weather here in LA but it's freezing in the office so I can kinda pull it off.

All of the jewelry is actually from on of my favorite little gift boutiques in Woodland Hills called Kingfisher Road. They have the most beautiful and unique jewelry. They had a contest asking people to submit their favorite jewelry they had purchased from their store and I submitted the first picture posted above. First place won a $100 gift card to their store...and guess who won....ME! I was so excited! I can't wait to pick out some new goodies!

How amazing is this jumper? Baggy, tapered leg and the sheer back!!! I'm obsessed. So perfect for my night out in downtown SD.  It's just so fun being a girl and getting to dress up and having different looks depending on your mood. And maybe a different cocktail depending on your mood ;) Geez can't wait for the weekend...

Just a casual outfit to hang with my fam this weekend. My grandparents are in town so we went to a nice dinner and lounged around the house. I've been wearing these studded loafers almost every day lately and want to get them in other colors and patterns. Easiest flats ever. And I love this turquise with the blue shirt. Muah!
