I can't believe it's already Monday again... barf. Now that that statement is out of the way, one of my favorite things to do right now is color block. I especially like this combo of mint and coral (I know it looks like orange in the pic). And I could seriously just live in shorts. They're one of my favorite things about summer. I decided to do a little night shoot to show you guys how to incorporate shorts into a night out outfit. By adding a sheer button up and some heels you can really dress up some regular denim cut offs. You could even throw them on with a blazer and you'll be perfectly dressed for a saturday night out without looking like you're trying too hard. Now on to the tequila and embarrassing karaoke...

The Versatile Blogger Award <3

I want to thank Amanda at Color the Coast  and Naty at A Love Affair with Fashion for both giving me the Versatile blogger award in the same day!

I've really been wanting an oversized denim blazer but couldn't seem to find one anywhere until I came across this one at Forever 21. I can't wait to discover more and more ways to wear it.

I love that this blazer is dressed up and dressed down at the same time. I could take off my heels and wear this outfit all weekend with some flats! And my trusty black shorts are always a staple. Forever 21 is really doing me right lately.

Shopping tip: If you find something you like but it's more than you want to pay, always take a look at more price conscious stores like Forever 21before you purchase. I almost always find a version of what I like for less :)

Enjoy your long weekend! It's time to pull out that bathing suite you've been dying to wear. Try to hit the beach or a pool with a nice summer cocktail in hand and some good music with friends and fam. That's what I'll be doing!
