I’m back! I had the most amazing time in New York!!! I am seriously considering movie there…or at least being bi-coastal hahaha. There is so much to do and see there. It makes LA seem so boring! I can’t wait to share my pictures with you guys.

There were so many fashionable girls there wearing a lot of casual looks and tons of denim which inspired this outfit. The girls there are so much different than LA girls… so much more casual, less make up and a more relaxed, thrown together last minute looks. Definitely not what I expected. I might have been the only girl wearing heels a couple of the nights. It was crazy! But kinda refreshing to actually see a girl’s face instead of her caked on makeup.

Happy Friday noodles!!! Work is getting so tedious I find myself already looking forward to the weekends on like Tuesdays. Geez. But at least it's here! Do you guys have any fun summer plans?

I just love mixing prints as I think we all do... so i decided to go with a striped crop with my high wasted floral shorts. I got these shorts last summer at Wasteland and have gotten a lot of great use out of them. I would definitely pair this ourfit with some cute flats or chucks but these were the only shoes I had handy at my parent's house... don't judge... we've all worn shorts with heels at one point in our lives or another right?!

Isn't Toby such a cutey cutey?! My sister rescued him about 2 years ago and he's really grown on me (for unfortunately not being much of a dog lover). But he just rolled over and put his little nose in the flower like he know someone was taking a picture of him. How can you not love that big shedding lug?

 Get out those skirts and bright colors it's getting warm outside! It's so easy to turn this skirt into a million different outfits especially in this cream color. And I'm really loving all the flowers of the summer like sunflowers, peonies and hydrangeas- hint hint Kev.

I hope you all had a great weekend and a great Father's day! So I know I promised myself I wouldn't be doing any shopping but guess what! I found $50 store credit to Forever21 in my wallet! I must have totally forgotten it was there. So I got this cute little onesie thinking it would be really easy to walk around in all day in NY. Especially since it will be hot there. I'll just change out the wedges for some flats and be ready to hit the city! It also has a little neon pop that I also liked. 

Any of you been to NY before? Any suggestions on what type of shoes to wear when I'm walking aroung there? Can I wear sandals or will those hurt after a while too? Should I just stick to sneakers?

I am so so so excited to show you guys my new favorite top. I die for this. I found one similar (here) on Nasty Gal and right when I was about to order it, my bff called and said that she found the one above at a little boutique by her work for cheaper and swooped it up for me! I decided to show you a couple ways to wear it and I already can't wait to wear it again. I think I might sleep in it tonight actually.

I can’t believe I have another entire outfit from Forever 21... don’t judge me. I love this little Peter Pan collar though! It’s so feminine and chic. I am starting to think that polka dots are going to be the next big trend. I have never wanted to wear polka dots in my life and for some reason I am on the prowl for them now. I really want some high wasted navy blue shorts with white polka dots…how cute would that be and I’m sure pretty easy to find. What do you guys think will be the next big trend?

Hope everyone had a great weekend and lovely Mother’s Day! I thought I could seriously shop till I dropped until I ventured to the mall with my mom yesterday. We went to the Americana and she literally has the endurance of an Olympic runner/Forest Gump marathon champion. I was beyond exhausted and never more in need of coffee in my life. But we got some good stuff amongst the gazillion other people there who had the same idea as we did.

Hope you like this comfy-cashz outfit… (Caj’? Casch? How do you spell casual for short?) Anyway, it certainly got me through my day lookin fly. I added a floral patterned scarf when it got cooler to offset the stripes… It was a winner if I do say so myself.

I love the idea of mixing 2 prints… especially 2 floral prints. Pick two that complement each other and you’ll look like a million bucks! What are your favorite prints to mix?

I’m rockin neon nails and loving it!! I bought China Glaze from Ulta and it was buy two get one free! Couldn’t pass that up.

I bought these clogs at Nordstrom Rack for $40 when I was dressing up as a hippie for Halloween a couple years ago. The shirt was given to me for free when I had an insane shopping spree at Brandy Melville one day. I made this necklace at the Bead Lounge…such a cool place. Check it out if you live in LA. And the glasses were bought as a gift from my hunny Kevin J

BTW- I wore this to work yesterday and passed Zach Efron in the hallway! We totally smiled at each other.. I almost DIED!!! Thank goodness I didn’t trip or walk into a wall or something.
