I'm back from a long weekend in Vegas! My little sis turned 21 so it was only appropriate to head to the desert. Since I'm not a skin-tight-dress kind of girl I was super excited about this sky blue long sleeve Everly. If only it had some shoulder pads...yes, should pads. It was a little hot while we were getting down at the club but it was totally worth it. The night was complete when my sis handed me the bottle of Greygoose and said..."Poor this in my mouth at midnight". I have taught her well. Mission accomplished.

Well it is officially summer! And it has been amazing weather outside...perfect for some white jeans. This outfit is the epitome of my style... feminine chic but still comfy casual. I love the stud detail on the shoulders of this classic shirt. You could pair it with white cut off shorts and some gladiator sandals to dress it down for the weekend too. It was so gloomy and cold out today I decided to throw on my roomies comfy Brandy Sweater. I love wearing baggy sweaters and long sleeves over short girly skirts (yes, there is a skirt under there). I think it looks stylish and is super flattering. Show off those legs! 

Man are my Jeffrey's getting beat up with all the wear I've gotten out of them. I want a new pair but I'm not allowed to shop until I get to NYC! Oh ya baby, I am finally going to New York with my boyfy Kevin. I have never been and am so so so excited. But I want to be able to do a TON of shopping there so I promised myself I wouldn't hit the mall (yes, that includes ZARA..sad face) until I get there. But the saving will all be worth it right?! Keep me honest guys!

I stole this house covered in pretty flowers and a white picket fence to take pics in front of this weekend. Let’s just pretend it’s mine. It went well with my bright lime green muscle tank and white jeans.

I had a chance to work on my tan this weekend. Hope you guys did too! AND I didn’t do one minute of shopping!…I have to say I’m pretty proud of my self control. I could hear Ventura Blvd calling my name!

This dress is a couple years old now from LF but is still one of my all time favorites and definitely a Go-To staple. I love wearing it loose or with a belt. I have been obsessing over these Zara heels and kept wishing I had them every morning when I got dressed so I finally got with it and ordered them online. They are SO cute! Yay!

Hope everyone had a great weekend and lovely Mother’s Day! I thought I could seriously shop till I dropped until I ventured to the mall with my mom yesterday. We went to the Americana and she literally has the endurance of an Olympic runner/Forest Gump marathon champion. I was beyond exhausted and never more in need of coffee in my life. But we got some good stuff amongst the gazillion other people there who had the same idea as we did.

Hope you like this comfy-cashz outfit… (Caj’? Casch? How do you spell casual for short?) Anyway, it certainly got me through my day lookin fly. I added a floral patterned scarf when it got cooler to offset the stripes… It was a winner if I do say so myself.

Happy Thursday! Has anyone else noticed or is the weather majorly lying to us this week? I keep expecting it to be warm and it's gloom-city every day! So even though I tried to pack my tights away for the summer, I just had to bring them out again. But, I made myself feel a little better by putting on some shorts since it is May after all. I threw on my military jacket to keep it cool and casual. And oh! I can't forget to mention that I got it at Madewell on sale for $20!! My Lita's added a little umph and are just so dang comfy I don't mind wearing them all day.

I just joined IFB and wanted to say thank you to everyone for the warm welcome wishes. I will get back to all of you later today!

bright as the sun

I got to take some pictures right at sunset. It was so beautiful outside...perfect weather for shorts. I love the bright color with the white lace. I was determined to find white lace shorts at a cheap price and lucked out finding these for $15 :) Much better than the $100 pair I saw (store to remain nameless) that first inspired my mad white lace hunt. And a jean jacket makes any outfit look a little more funky. I was obsessed with these boots the second I saw them and knew my entire existence would not be complete until they were mine. Sometimes you need to save and sometimes you need to splurge ;)
