I feel like such a little lady in this outfit! I got this skirt at the American Apparel outlet last Christmas and had never worn in until now! I need to cut down on the amount of times that happens to me in a year... I'm going to have to start pulling it out more often. I love the chunky stacked necklaces with this look too. It makes me wanna take a stroll to the park or sip some tea or something. The wallet is another amazing find at F21... I have to give the credit to my roomy Ashley for spotting it this weekend. They still have them in the stores and online just click on the link!!

I’m loving all the bright colors of the spring/summer (if you couldn’t tell already), especially when paired with floral. I like how the outfit and hair are a little bit undone. Brings a more casual look to a dressy shirt. And nothing beats fresh daisies J

Hope everyone had a great weekend and lovely Mother’s Day! I thought I could seriously shop till I dropped until I ventured to the mall with my mom yesterday. We went to the Americana and she literally has the endurance of an Olympic runner/Forest Gump marathon champion. I was beyond exhausted and never more in need of coffee in my life. But we got some good stuff amongst the gazillion other people there who had the same idea as we did.

Hope you like this comfy-cashz outfit… (Caj’? Casch? How do you spell casual for short?) Anyway, it certainly got me through my day lookin fly. I added a floral patterned scarf when it got cooler to offset the stripes… It was a winner if I do say so myself.

Bring on the Neon

I know everyone's doing it, but I just can't get enough. I want to wear something neon every day! And I can't help but be amazed at how trends come and go... for example, last summer no one was thinking "I need to wear neon NOW!" It's just so crazy how it works.

Flower Child

I love the idea of mixing 2 prints… especially 2 floral prints. Pick two that complement each other and you’ll look like a million bucks! What are your favorite prints to mix?

I’m rockin neon nails and loving it!! I bought China Glaze from Ulta and it was buy two get one free! Couldn’t pass that up.

I bought these clogs at Nordstrom Rack for $40 when I was dressing up as a hippie for Halloween a couple years ago. The shirt was given to me for free when I had an insane shopping spree at Brandy Melville one day. I made this necklace at the Bead Lounge…such a cool place. Check it out if you live in LA. And the glasses were bought as a gift from my hunny Kevin J

BTW- I wore this to work yesterday and passed Zach Efron in the hallway! We totally smiled at each other.. I almost DIED!!! Thank goodness I didn’t trip or walk into a wall or something.

Tie Dye Sunday

It definitely is the season for baby and bridal showers! Went to the baby shower this weekend. It was adorable...so Pinteresty :) I actually had no intention of wearing this dress but then saw the tail end of it sticking out in my closet and decided it was perfect for the day. I picked it up at the Orange County Swapmeet actually for around $24.00! It is a bit long so I threw on some heels and belt.

When you have no idea what to wear, a maxi dress always does the trick. Whether you are going to something casual or a little more dressed up it will make you look stylish and chic!

Happy Thursday! Has anyone else noticed or is the weather majorly lying to us this week? I keep expecting it to be warm and it's gloom-city every day! So even though I tried to pack my tights away for the summer, I just had to bring them out again. But, I made myself feel a little better by putting on some shorts since it is May after all. I threw on my military jacket to keep it cool and casual. And oh! I can't forget to mention that I got it at Madewell on sale for $20!! My Lita's added a little umph and are just so dang comfy I don't mind wearing them all day.

I just joined IFB and wanted to say thank you to everyone for the warm welcome wishes. I will get back to all of you later today!

Pink Pom Poms

 Such a beautiful weekend! We had the perfect venue and weather to host a good friends bridal shower on Saturday down in La Jolla. Flowers and pink pom poms were everywhere. I wore this high wasted bright pink skirt and paired it with a burgundy chiffon top with poofy sleeves to take full advantage of getting to dress super girly for the event.

Styling tip: If you have bright colored bottom (skirt, pants... whatever) instead of paring it with the usual white or black top pick another color that compliments it and really makes your outfit unique and unexpected. People will notice!

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and survived Coachella! For the few of us who didn't get to hippie it up in Indio this weekend I hope you got to get in as much great shopping as I did!

 I kept wanting it to be warm and summery this weekend hence the shorts and tank but the cold kept sneaking up on me so I had to throw on something to keep me warm. I always love the combo of shorts with big baggy sweaters. And since I didn't have any color in my outfit I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to wear my bright orange fringe necklace which I love since it is really an outfit in itself. Big bold necklaces always pull an outfit together. 

I got another bright orange surprise in downtown LA this weekend that I can't wait to show you guys! Enjoy your day!
