Happy Friday! Oh ya! Oh ya! Oh ya! (Kardashian's anyone?!) I am so excited for the weekend ahead. My bff Chelsea is coming into town today to visit for the weekend. We're gonna go to the Edward Sharpe concert at Griffith Park tonight and drink some margaritas on the beach tomorrow! I couldn't be happier to see my little strawberry snickerdoodle (thats Chelsea) and spend some quality time with my besties :) And seeing as today is my HALF BIRTHDAY- woop woop! we have even more of an excuse to celebrate haha- jk (not really).

I also have a baby shower to attend on Sunday...what to wear, what to wear. Any suggestions?!

Pink Pom Poms

 Such a beautiful weekend! We had the perfect venue and weather to host a good friends bridal shower on Saturday down in La Jolla. Flowers and pink pom poms were everywhere. I wore this high wasted bright pink skirt and paired it with a burgundy chiffon top with poofy sleeves to take full advantage of getting to dress super girly for the event.

Styling tip: If you have bright colored bottom (skirt, pants... whatever) instead of paring it with the usual white or black top pick another color that compliments it and really makes your outfit unique and unexpected. People will notice!

Love this little lace number with the key hole in the back. Foreign Exchange has seriously stepped their game up lately. Head in there the next time you're at the mall and I guarantee you'll find a nice little treasure at a good price. Next mission: what to wear to a bridal shower this weekend...

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and survived Coachella! For the few of us who didn't get to hippie it up in Indio this weekend I hope you got to get in as much great shopping as I did!

 I kept wanting it to be warm and summery this weekend hence the shorts and tank but the cold kept sneaking up on me so I had to throw on something to keep me warm. I always love the combo of shorts with big baggy sweaters. And since I didn't have any color in my outfit I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to wear my bright orange fringe necklace which I love since it is really an outfit in itself. Big bold necklaces always pull an outfit together. 

I got another bright orange surprise in downtown LA this weekend that I can't wait to show you guys! Enjoy your day!

Two Faced

I got to take a little break and work from home today. Sure is nice to sit on a couch instead of an office chair once in a while! Plus, I had some time to run a few errands I never seem to have time to squeeze in. I decided to throw on this black/cream sheer button up since it may be a little inappropriate for the office if you know what i mean... I picked it up at Forever 21 this past weekend. I love how its completely black in the front and cream in the back. They only had one large left but it worked when I hiked it up a little a lot with my studded JCrew belt. I got the neon shoulder bag from Forever too! They had tons of new stuff and lots of neon! It was amazing actually (and a little embarrassing) how much money I spent there. Heels are Madden Girl, my Michael Kors watch of course, gold ring from the flea market and black bracelet from my sister's wedding. Bracing for the rain tomorrow!!!
