Curly Q

Sweater: Brandy Melville | Necklace: Urban Outfitters

Photos by Ashley Alan Lee

As I'm sure you know by now, I love pairing baggy sweaters with skirts or shorts. This is an older sweater from the good old Brandy Melville. So cozy. I might have to retire it until the fall though since it's so hot these days!

Two more days until NY!!!!! I'm already having anxiety about packing...have I said that already??

Ombre

Shirt: Zara | Jeans: Random Jeggings | Belt: Urban Outfitters | Wedges: From one of those cheap BOGO stores on the mall?

I'm sorry all the stuff I'm wearing is from such random places I can't even tell you lol. But the star here is this cutey ombre shirt from Zara so at least I have that for you!
I cannot believe it isn't Friday yet. UGH. My main sqeeze is on his way to Cabo right now  and I'm stuck in LA for the long weekend. Jealousy is overwhelming my brain. Hopefully he'll bring me back something nice (and tan his white butt).

Have a great day!

Simplicity

My laid back dress loose and comfy
and adding a little belt...
Dress: LF | Belt: Urban Outfitters | Strappy Heels: Zara | Studded Gold Bracelet: Madewell

Photos by: Ashley Alan-lee

This dress is a couple years old now from LF but is still one of my all time favorites and definitely a Go-To staple. I love wearing it loose or with a belt. I have been obsessing over these Zara heels and kept wishing I had them every morning when I got dressed so I finally got with it and ordered them online. They are SO cute! Yay!

Have a good day!

Bring on the Neon

I know everyone's doing it, but I just can't get enough. I want to wear something neon every day! And I can't help but be amazed at how trends come and go... for example, last summer no one was thinking "I need to wear neon NOW!" It's just so crazy how it works.
These flowers are up on my roof... reminded me of by blazer...so pretty
The beautiful sunset at the end of the shoot
Blazer: H&M | Neon orange shirt: Diane's Swimwear | Shorts: F21 | Heels: Jeffrey Campbell- Litas | BRight blue watch: F21 Skull bracelet: Downtown LA | Glasses: Random Cheapies

So for now I will keep wearing neon I suppose until I wear myself out of it. What do you think the next big fashion/hair/beauty trend will be?

Have a great day and take a second to enjoy the beauty around you!

Pink Pom Poms

Shirt: American Apparel // Skirt: Random // Suede Heels: Steve Madden // Necklace: Forever 21

Such a beautiful weekend! We had the perfect venue and weather to host a good friends bridal shower on Saturday down in La Jolla. Flowers and pink pom poms were everywhere. I wore this high wasted bright pink skirt and paired it with a burgundy chiffon top with poofy sleeves to take full advantage of getting to dress super girly for the event.

Styling tip: If you have bright colored bottom (skirt, pants... whatever) instead of paring it with the usual white or black top pick another color that compliments it and really makes your outfit unique and unexpected. People will notice!

In the Lace

Dress: Foreign Exchange // Shoes: Steve Madden // Wrap Bracelet: Club Monaco

Love this little lace number with the key hole in the back. Foreign Exchange has seriously stepped their game up lately. Head in there the next time you're at the mall and I guarantee you'll find a nice little treasure at a good price. Next mission: what to wear to a bridal shower this weekend...

bright as the sun

Neon Pink Shirt: Madewell // Lace Shorts: H&M // Boots: Frye // Necklace: Brandy Melville // Sunglasses: Gucci // Watch: Michael Kors

I got to take some pictures right at sunset. It was so beautiful outside...perfect weather for shorts. I love the bright color with the white lace. I was determined to find white lace shorts at a cheap price and lucked out finding these for $15 :) Much better than the $100 pair I saw (store to remain nameless) that first inspired my mad white lace hunt. And a jean jacket makes any outfit look a little more funky. I was obsessed with these boots the second I saw them and knew my entire existence would not be complete until they were mine. Sometimes you need to save and sometimes you need to splurge ;)

Have a great day and enjoy the sunshine!

Cold Factor

Sweater: Brandy Melville // Shorts: Urban Outfitters // Necklace: Timeless, Studio City //
White tank: Forever21 // Heels: Aldo // Wrap Around Bracelet: Club Monaco

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and survived Coachella! For the few of us who didn't get to hippie it up in Indio this weekend I hope you got to get in as much great shopping as I did!

I kept wanting it to be warm and summery this weekend hence the shorts and tank but the cold kept sneaking up on me so I had to throw on something to keep me warm. I always love the combo of shorts with big baggy sweaters. And since I didn't have any color in my outfit I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to wear my bright orange fringe necklace which I love since it is really an outfit in itself. Big bold necklaces always pull an outfit together.

I got another bright orange surprise in downtown LA this weekend that I can't wait to show you guys! Enjoy your day!
